Tanya Patterson is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Fellow of International Board of Hypnotherapy.She also is a graduate of Nationally Accredited College of Hypnotherapy, HMI.

Born in Russia, she graduated from Kazakh State Medical University, Almaty, Kazakhstan as a General practitioner, MD. Soon after her graduation, Tanya sought training in Mind-Body Medicine to aid in the treatment of chronic medical conditions. She also pursued formal training in psychotherapy. She worked as a psychosomatic therapist in the public clinic and police hospital in the capital of Kazakhstan, and experienced success in restoring well-being to people who suffered from medical conditions, induced by stress and psychological trauma, including Asthma, Hypertension, Stomach Ulcer, Ulcerative Colitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and many other psychosomatic conditions.

In her current practice in Ashburn, Tanya welcomes clients with medical as well as psychological distress. Confident in her skills, and grounded in thorough training and experience, she guides clients to contact the core of their issues and to be in touch with inner healing properties as timeless as life itself, and as replenishing as flowing water.

Even though Tanya Patterson has a Medical Doctor degree, in her Timeless River Healing practice she does not practice medicine or psychotherapy and her services are not a replacement for medical or psychiatric treatment or counseling and psychotherapy.

She also believes that hypnotherapy and other healing methods are not a substitute for medical treatment or psychotherapy but rather are an educational and self-improvement processes that facilitate access to internal resources, turning on internal power within, assisting in solving problems, increasing motivation, altering behavioral patterns to create positive changes.
